Here’s an insight of what you can expect from StarCraft 2 Terran race. This video includes the introduction of several new and old Terran units. It also includes new Building Add-Ons and new Unit Upgrades.

One of the three races of the game which has the psionic abilities are the terrans. The survivors of a 23^rd century migration mission from earth gave way to this new level of humans. In Stracraft 2 terran vs. their own kinds or with neighboring aliens are their frequent battle encounters.

Terrans also pertains to the human beings who survived the “Long Sleep” and they primarily occupy Koprulu sector. While humans on Earth  were ordinarily called as mankind, or humans or even humanity, however, Blizzard Entertainment still consider them as part of this group which is the terrans.

Terrans somehow may still closely resemble the humans of the twenty-first century, but they differ in the sense that they have been progressively developing their psionic ability such as advanced telepathy ability. And this progression took place during the “Long Sleep”.

Starcraft units of Terrans technology may seem to be more advanced and sophisticated than before like with the 21^st century humans, yet it closely resembles traditional weapons such as the rockets, missiles and bullets and it has been their main weapons and they source their power from nuclear and mind fuels supplies.

Among the structure which they can build are space stations, adjust memories, expertise in holograms and teleportation which allows them to travel swiftly like with the speed of light.

With their advanced technology they can create weapons like the siege tank, nuclear weapons, battlecruiser and Ion Cannons. With this technology they can also make advance models of space ships like the Viking, science vessel, Wriath and the most popular of them is the Thor.

Because it’s the human race in the game, it is more likely to be the most preferred race to be used in playing Starcraft 2. Terrans are complex yet advanced combination of units in the game and utilize various battling defense techniques with special and upgraded capabilities. Terrans also has the advantage of establishing its structures just like anywhere in the map. And not only that, if ever there is a need for a relocation, Terran buildings can easily be lifted or flown into the air. Among the most featured and the best units anyone could ever try in playing using Terrans is the Battlecruiser. Invisibility is also one of the key skills of some Terran units.  Although Terrans are not that more advanced when it comes to the units and structures of Protoss and also can be outnumbered by Zerg units during a battle, by knowing each units and its abilities paired with a good defense strategy, Terrans can finish the challenge and won the battle with ease.

Terrans Advantages:

• Has the ability to maximize gathering of resources by utilizing the aid of MULE.
• Wide coverage of building structure, like anywhere
• Bunkers, Siege Tanks, Thor, Turrets provide stronger defense compared to other races
• Scanning ability to any location within the map
• Easy lifting feature of some buildings for fast relocation
• Structures and most units can be repaired

Terrans Disadvantages:

• Expansion is limited
• Must have strong defense because structures can easily torn down compared to other races
• Can be  tedious sometimes like in administering  higher  abilities

Many people who have played Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood War became more interested in using Terran more than the other two races in the game. This is for a fact that Terran look just like humans and they use cool weapons as well.

Now that Blizzard Entertainment has announced that a new chapter to this game will be released soon, many are eager to see what Starcraft 2 Terran would look like. What is the difference between the older versions of Terran from this new one?

New Starcraft 2 terran units added include the Reapers. They completely replaced the Terran firebats and are considered as among the strongest weapons of Terran. Reapers can be used as scouts, hit and runners, and base raiders. They are able to use the terrain to their advantage by firing with ranged weapons from cliffs.

Other new units of Starcraft 2 Terran include Jackal. Right now, there is no information regarding this new unit yet. But for sure, this new unit will definitely attract players from playing this game.

Some of the old units of Terran like the Battle cruiser, Ghost, SCV, Marine, Dropship and etc. are still included this game. But don’t think that no upgrades have been made on these units. Once you play the game, you will realize that they have more abilities than they did in the previous Starcraft.

Terran also has new buildings or structures that can help a player create new tactics for beating other players or the computer. Most of them may look like the structures in the previous Starcraft, but they allow players to build more things. There’s also a new terrain sensor tower that allows a player to see long ranged cloaked units.
